Description |
Founded in 1973, the Japhet School provides strong, traditional academics and character quality education that fosters a love of learning and a sense of social responsibility.
Character quality education is integrated into every part of the curriculum. Our students study carefully designed lessons in science, mathematics, reading, and humanities, with an emphasis on oral and written expression. Within academic lessons, our students explore the definition and application of moral and ethical values such as reliability, peace, and courage. Whats more, Japhets core curriculum is supported by specialty classes in creative movement, P.E., art, drama, music, practical life skills, computers, foreign language and public speaking.
Our Early Childhood Program is a hands-on play-based program that develops the whole child, which means, developing a child academically, morally, physically, socially and spiritually. Children develop an independence that is appropriate for their age, a positive self-concept, and an awareness of the world around them. An emphasis is placed on peaceful conflict resolution. Young students learn how to use their words to communicate their feelings.
