Pioneering the concept of family-centered education at the elementary and middle school level, New Morning School is the only Pre K - Grade 8 parent cooperative in Michigan.
The needs of the individual child come first at New Morning School, where the academic program is individualized to maximize each students learning potential. Student responsibility, positive self-esteem and positive interpersonal relationships are encouraged. Goal-setting, planning, and decision-making are emphasized. Students learn to evaluate information, problem-solve, set goals and attain them.
