AIMS Trustee Day will be Wednesday, October 6, 2010. The event will be held at Eton Academy, 1755 Melton, Birmingham, MI 48009. The schedule will include an afternoon session (3 or 3:30 pm) aimed at new Trustees but open to everyone (including Heads of School and other administrators and staff that you might want to send) on the Basics of Governance. There will be a reception and dinner following the afternoon session. The evening session (7 to 7:30 pm) will be a case study approach to solving problems that grow from school governance, applicable to everyone.

The presenter will be Keith Shahan, President of the Independent School Association of the Central States. The fee will be $75 for one or two sessions and dinner/reception; $30 for those who want to attend one session only without dinner.
